We have had high expectations for this coffee, and it definitely delivered. It has the rich complexity that this region is known for producing. It is sweet and bright, without a punchy acidity. This coffee would produce a great cup whether being used as a filter or espresso.
Produced by Jeovany Lara, this microlot was processed at the Beneficio San Vicente dry mill in the Santa Barbara region of Honduras. This family owned and operated dry mill sits in the town of Pena Blanca in Northwestern Honduras. The San Vicente coffee community is known for regularly placing as finalists in the national Cup of Excellence competition. This microlot definitely holds up the reputation of a coffee from this community.
